In this video, Square Enix compares the PS4 version to the PS5 version to show all the optimizations of the game on the latest generation console.
Square Enix has just unveiled a video comparing the gaming experience Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade which will soon be released on PlayStation 5 with its PlayStation 4 version. Before its arrival on June 10 on the new generation console from Sony, it is good to compare the performance that the game offers on this console compared to those offered on the old generation console.
The most striking is the image quality, which has improved significantly. The PS5 allowing to enjoy the 4k with a frame rate of 60fps, the optimization of the graphics is pushed to its maximum and the brightness is much more natural on the PS5 version. The play of shadows and light is present, as are the effects of mist and smoke. In the PS4 version, it is difficult to distinguish the mist while in the PS5 version, it is present and reinforces the atmosphere of the game.
As a reminder, owners of the PS4 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake in physical or digital version will be able to have free access to the next-gen update on PS5 if they have one. However, the additional episode with Yuffie will not be delivered through this update but will be available for purchase separately. In addition, those who acquired the title through their subscription Playstation plus will not be able to benefit from the next-gen update and will have to repurchase the game Final Fantasy Remake Intergrade full.
