Amazon is updating the Fire TV Stick and bringing a new remote control!

Amazon has secretly released a new Fire TV Stick. Most noticeable is the redesigned remote control with buttons for streaming.

New Fire TV can already be pre-ordered!

Amazon has revised its Fire TV Stick, which will be shipping from April 14th. It is already possible to pre-order it for € 39.99. Most noticeable are the new streaming buttons on the remote control. There are now individual buttons with which you can start Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney + and Amazon Music directly. A separate Alexa button is of course also included.

Amazon itself describes the new features of the best-selling streaming device as follows:

  • The latest version of our best-selling streaming device – 50% more power compared to Fire TV Stick (2019), for fast streaming in Full HD. Includes an Alexa voice remote control with on / off and volume buttons.
  • Less clutter, more control – with the Alexa voice remote control, you can search for and play programs across all apps by voice command. You can also quickly access popular apps using the brand new preset buttons. Switching on and off and volume control for compatible televisions and soundbars are also possible without an additional remote control.

The new remote control is also available individually for € 29.99. This can also be pre-ordered and will be delivered from April 14th. Incidentally, it is not compatible with the first generation of Fire TVs / sticks. You can also see which devices work with it in the item description on Amazon!

What do you think of the new Alexa remote control? Are you going to order them?
