Motorola has just lifted the veil on the G100 and the G50, two mid-range smartphones rather tempting on paper, with screens at 90 Hz, connectivity 5G and imposing batteries promising XXL autonomy.

Motorola G100

The Motorola G100 is at the top of the basket of mid-range smartphones, with a rather substantial price of 499,99€. For that price, you get a large 6.7-inch Full HD + LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate for a smooth browsing experience. This slab has not one, but two punches located on the upper left part. They house the two selfie cameras, including a 16 MP wide-angle, and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle. At the rear, we will find four additional sensors: a main sensor of 64 megapixels (f / 1.7), an ultra wide-angle of 16 megapixels (f / 2.2), a depth sensor of 2 megapixels (f / 2,4) as well as a ToF sensor.

The back is made of plastic on which we simply find the logo of the brand, and the fingerprint sensor is placed on the side, integrated into the unlock button. Inside the Motorola G100, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G SoC coupled with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage via microSD. To power everything, we can count on an imposing 5000 mAh battery, which promises very good autonomy. For now, Motorola has not yet communicated an official release date, but it will not be long.

Motorola G50

At just € 229.99, the Motorola G50 offers a design in the same vein as its big brother. There is a 6.5-inch 720p screen, also with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, with a notch in the shape of a water drop to accommodate the front camera. At the rear, we can count on a trio of sensors including a main camera of 48 MP, a macro of 5 MP and a depth sensor of 2 MP. Inside, we find a Snapdragon 480 from Qualcomm, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM with 64 or 128 GB of storage depending on the configuration chosen, expandable via microSD. Much like the G100, the Motorola G50 does not yet have an official release date.
