First Casio G-Shock Smartwatch with WearOS

The watch manufacturer Casio has presented its G-Squad Pro GSW-H1000 and thus its first smartwatch with WearOS as the operating system.

The case of the new smartwatch is shockproof and the underside made of titanium and waterproof up to 200 meters. The bracelet of the Casio Watch is made of urethane, so that it should be flexible but also durable.

In the fitness area, the G-Squad GSW-H1000 can record various training activities such as running, cycling or swimming. The watch can be adapted to personal goals and thus individualized. An optical sensor, a compass, an air pressure meter, an altimeter, a gyroscope and an acceleration sensor are installed as sensors. This allows the G-Squad GSW-H1000 to measure heart rate and record and display information on calorie consumption, number of steps, distance, pace, etc.

It is not yet known when and at what price the watch will be available in Germany.
