Google added a new feature to WearOS. With this optimization, the notifications can now be managed more quickly.
New function enables faster notification management
With its latest optimization, Google has improved an important point of criticism. Up until now, notifications could be viewed on the smartwatch by swiping from the top to the bottom. If there was no new message, the message “no new message” was displayed. Every now and then it happens that a new message arrives on the smartphone but is not displayed on the watch. Then the user stares at the same “no new message” notice. Google has now added a new button in the notification window of the smartwatch. Tapping “Manage” opens the WearOS app on the connected phone, especially the “Change watch notifications” page, where you can set which app notifications should be displayed on the watch.
Since the change was detected on a Skagen Falster 3, the new “Manage” button in the notification area for WearOS does not seem to be tied to the HMR2 update. Instead, this appears to be a server-side change.
