The mobile game from the creator of Final Fantasy is now available for download from Apple Arcade, Apple’s subscription video game service.
A few weeks ago, the Mistwalker studio, founded by the creator of the Final Fantasy franchise, unveiled a trailer for its next mobile game, Fantasian. The game is now available for download through Apple Arcade on iOS and macOS devices. The initial download is 4.5GB and the French translation is not yet available, so you will have to choose between English or Japanese for the moment. The game requires at least iOS 13 or macOS 11 versions to download. Finally, you can play Fantasian with a controller since the game supports them.
Fantasian is an RPG game that tells the story of Leo, amnesiac and wishing to understand how he was able to land where he is. The game’s soundtrack is another element that binds Fantasian at Final Fantasy since it is the same composer, the famous Nobuo Uematsu, who is at the origin. The sets and environments of the game were created from dioramas, a method of reconstructing an environment in miniature and in 3D, similar to a model. In total, 150 dioramas were used to build the entire game environment.
As a reminder, Apple Arcade is a subscription service at 4.99 euros per month that gives you access to hundreds of mobile games, only on Apple devices.
