Ring today announced a new wired floodlight camera, the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro.
Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro & Video Doorbell 4
Ring, which belongs to Amazon, is expanding its portfolio of smart surveillance cameras with a new floodlight camera. The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro, like the new Ring Video Doorbel Pro 2, offers 3D motion detection via radar sensor. This should give users even more control over the movement notifications. Furthermore, the camera is equipped with the new bird’s eye view, with which users can see the path of a detected movement in a map display.
The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired, as the name suggests, is permanently wired to a power connection and is of course somewhat more restricted in terms of placement than a Ring camera with a battery. It shoots in 1080p and offers color night vision. Of course, two-way audio can also be used to communicate via the camera. In order to use the cloud storage and also to look at recognized movements from the past, you also have to take out a paid ring subscription, which is available from 3 euros per month.
Ring has also announced a new Vodeo Doorbell 4 with color pre-roll technology. The new function offers the user an additional 4-second color video preview of every motion event, so that the user can see even better what is happening on their doorstep.
The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro should be available in the next few months for 249 euros. The Ring Video Doorbell 4 will be released on May 5th and will cost 199 euros.
