Apple Find My opens to third parties

With the Apple Find My service, you can now search for and find products from third parties in addition to Apple devices.

Find your e-bike with Apple Find My

Anyone who owns an iOS device benefits from Apple’s Find My service, which can be used to locate and retrieve lost devices. This works with iPhones, iPads, the Apple Watch or MacBooks. Now Apple is also opening its service to third-party providers and is introducing the new “works with Apple Find My”Certificate. One of the first providers to integrate the service into their products is, for example, the manufacturer of e-bikes Vanmoof. The S3 model and the X3 series are supported here.

Third-party devices will be listed in a new “Items” tab in the future. In addition to Vanmoof, Belkin headphones and the Chipolo Finder are among the first supported devices.
