Blizzard just announced good news for fans of the franchise Diablo. If the fourth installment is not scheduled for now, PC players will soon be able to rediscover the cult title Diablo II in an improved version. Baptized Diablo II : Resurrected, this edition will be playable in its technical alpha version from April 9 at 3 p.m. This will last until April 12 at 7 p.m. and will only be available to a few players. They will be able to rediscover the single-player adventure of the game, the focus of the developers. Blizzard reveals that another test will take place for the multiplayer part, knowing that it is an integral part of the experience of Diablo II.
Blizzard explains that “ participants will be able to choose three classes among the seven available in the final version, and will be able to go through the entire first two acts of the game. They will thus be able to fight with the courageous Barbarian, the swift and agile Amazon or the Witch and her formidable spells “. It is also specified that ” the level is not limited, so participants can improve their characters as much as they want until the end of the technical alpha ».
In the improvements made in the version Resurrected, we find improvements in visual quality, the resolution going to 4K. The game now features fully 3D rendered graphics and the soundtrack has been remastered in Dolby Surround 7.1. Some game improvements affect in-game content directly. Note that new mechanics have been added for player convenience, such as automatic gold pickup and shared chests. The game will support joysticks for better gaming comfort and for those who are not used to playing keyboard / mouse.
