The entry-level smartphone Realme 6 is now enjoying an excellent promotion. This value for money, already good when it was released, becomes one of the best available since the phone is currently offered at 169 euros at Rue du Commerce.
At the merchant, the Realme 6 is usually sold at 269 euros. We now learn that an immediate discount of 100 € is applied for the phone launched in March 2020. It can be found at 169 euros, which saves 90 euros on a quality kneaded model.
Realme 6 in detail
The Realme 6 is a phone equipped with a 6.5-inch Full HD + (1080 x 2400p) screen of good quality. Above all, there is a refresh rate of 90 Hz, which is quite rare for this price segment. The fluidity in navigation and in video games is therefore there, which is a strong argument. There is a thin black border all around the latter, and a small selfie camera that leaves a lot of space on the screen, particularly useful if you watch videos or series.
Under the hood, the phone defends itself very well. We find the Mediatek MT6785 Helio G90T processor (octo-core) as well as 4 GB of RAM here. And despite what one might imagine, it turns out to be rather efficient in optimized applications which can therefore make you enjoy the refresh rate of 90 Hz and a much higher fluidity than smartphones in this price range, often in 60 Hz. Slowdowns are rare, the phone does not heat up, regardless of the applications launched. The user experience is, in general, the most fluid, whether in repeated use or not. For example, on games like Call of Duty Mobile, we certainly do not have the highest graphics, but we can enjoy a successful and smooth experience for hours.
This is combined with a substantial autonomy, enabled by a 4300 mAh battery. Despite the screen refresh rate, you can last a day very easily and with heavy use, or even two days without forcing too much. The Chinese manufacturer has added fast charging, which is very practical since you can charge your phone from 0% to 100% in just one hour.
Finally, the photos and videos part and not a surprise in itself. The photo unit used on the back remains very classic in this price range, with a wide-angle lens with an aperture of F / 1.8 and a 64 Megapixel sensor. The output photos are 12 Megapixels. There is also an ultra-wide-angle camera with an aperture of F / 2.3 and an 8 Megapixel sensor. Finally, there is a 2 Megapixel sensor for managing the depth of field and a second 2 Megapixel sensor dedicated to macro photos. The photos are therefore of good quality, without being incredible, especially during the day. If darkness is in order, artificial intelligence takes care of optimizing as best it can with a night mode, which obviously remains less efficient than high-end phones. We will still note the possibility of recording videos up to 4K, which is always a plus for this price range.
