In less than 24 hours, dozens of earthquakes have been detected around the world. Sometimes they are very small, scale 3 or less, more than 10 km deep, but in other cases they are tremors that can be perfectly felt on the surface.
All this data is always recorded, and we can easily see it on a website specialized in the subject.
Is about earthquakenow.cf, a website that shows a dotted world map showing where we have had the last earthquakes. There is a color code to understand the magnitude of it, and in the left menu, next to the search engine, we can access an advanced filter to find exactly what we are looking for.
Clicking on the «advanced» button will open a complete form to filter by dates, magnitude and depth.
Once the earthquake is found, click on details to obtain more information about it.
In the file it is possible to press buttons to upload images in case we have felt the earthquake, as well as fill out a small questionnaire to give more information about it.
Earthquake data is provided by the European Plate Observation System and the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, and the project code is available and github, ready for you to download and improve it if you consider it necessary.
