Good news for survey enthusiasts. The universe of Sherlock Holmes is about to return to our screens, thanks to his little sister Enola. More than six months after release from the first film, Netflix confirms that a new feature film is in development. We will logically find Millie Bobby Brown in the skin ofEnola Holmes and Henry Cavill in that of the famous investigator living at 221B Backerstreet. Behind the camera, it is always Harry Bradbeer who will work. The screenplay will be adapted by Jack Thorne. He had already signed the first opus and it is also to him that we owe the piece Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

An adaptation of the second volume?
On the plot side, the platform remains discreet. However, the answer could be found in the novels of Nancy Springer. The first film being a fairly faithful adaptation of the first volume, it therefore seems logically that the saga follows the same path in the future. In this second opus, the young Enola chose to live alone after the sudden disappearance of her mother. After having escaped the vigilance of her two brothers, Sherlock and Mycroft, under a false identity, she decides to open a firm specializing in the search for all disappearances. Her first investigation leads her straight on the trail of Lady Cecil Alistair, the daughter of a baronet and teenager far from being right, who has disappeared in the slums of the London city. On her way she should meet a certain Doctor Watson, the famous assistant to the detective. However, we do not yet know who will embody it.
For now, Netflix has not given the release date of its film. It must be said that the two main actors had their work cut out for them in 2021, since they were respectively finalizing the shootings of The Witcher and Stranger Things. The two series are now in the box, it will probably be expected that they will find the platters this year. We will nevertheless wait for the announcements of Netflix to get to the bottom of it.
