Reface now allows you to be the protagonist of statues, canvases, posters and more

We were already beginning to miss those novelties that allow us to have fun at the expense of Artificial Intelligence and its capabilities to convert static elements into animated elements based on movements, faces, or both, and then share them on social networks.

In this sense, Reface, the well-known application that allows us to be the protagonists of movie clips and music videos, has just introduced the function Swap Animation!, after which pWe can animate monuments, statues, canvases, posters, and more, even using our own faces, which will even allow us to be protagonists as video game characters, old paintings, covers of musical bands, and everything that can occur to us at any time.

More fun at the expense of animating static elements

The new feature combines the capabilities we have already seen separately in MyHeritage’s Deep Nostalgia to bring old photos to life, and in Wombo, for synchronization of the lips with the music, generating the new animations using Artificial Intelligence, starting from the images that we have in the gallery of our smart mobile phones or that we directly upload to the application.

The instructions are, according to your statement, the following:

  • Tap the “+” button
  • Choose “Animate Image”
  • Select any image you want to animate in the gallery.
  • You can also upload your own image
  • Select the animation you want to use
  • Enjoy!

Of course, we will soon see videos and memes generated with the new function on the main social networks, since in practice, Reface opens beyond the selection of video clips that you have in your service, allowing us to be the protagonist of everything we want through the use of our faces in movement.

From Reface they point out that there will be moderation regarding the content that is used to avoid violating the rules of use, and you agree that they will not save the face data, as they will instead use 512 numerical values that are not related to the biometrics, which they will delete after 24 hours.

So now the only thing left to do is update the application, or install it if you did not have a previous version before, from the respective markets of social applications, and enjoy the possibilities that this application now offers us, although it would have been better if they had launched it for the weekend, taking advantage of the greater availability of free time, and the greater desire to do crazy things, that surely will not be missing.
