Vivo announces the launch of two new smartphones in our regions, including its latest flagship, the Vivo X60 Pro 5G.
After formalizing its new flagship at the end of last year in China, Vivo is finally launching the X60 Pro 5G in Europe! It will be available from May 25 from € 799 with the Vivo Y72 5G, a second smartphone that is also very promising, which will be sold for € 319.
On paper, the European model of the Vivo X60 Pro 5G does not seem to differ from its Chinese counterpart. Thus, there is a solid technical sheet carried, first of all, by a 6.56-inch AMOLED screen (2376 x 1080 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This screen is punched to accommodate the front camera.
Snapdragon 888 point here. Vivo instead relies on Qualcomm’s other high-end SoC, the Snapdragon 870, which is also particularly efficient and allows the smartphone to acquire 5G connectivity. This processor comes with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. In terms of autonomy, we can count on a 4,200 mAh battery and fast charging at 33W, but no wireless charging.
But where this Vivo X60 Pro 5G is interesting, it is at the back, where we find a photo block created in collaboration with ZEISS, mythical optical manufacturer. There are therefore three cameras: a main sensor of 48 MP, associated with an ultra-wide-angle lens of 13 MP and an X2 optical zoom of 13 MP. As with the X51 last year, the main camera still benefits from a gimbal to capture extremely stable images without the aid of an external stabilizer.
The Vivo X60 Pro 5G will come with the Vivo Y72 5G, which offers a more modest but convincing technical sheet. Inside, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 700, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and a 5000 mAh battery compatible with 18W fast charging. At the front, we can count on a 6.58-inch FHD + screen and a trio of photo sensors on the rear: 64 MP wide-angle, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle and macro.
