Epic Games continues collaborations with the sports field, this time calling on NBA players and team.
Epic Games, always in lawsuit against apple, has just unveiled his next collaboration for his famous battle royale, Fortnite. This is a collaboration with the NBA thanks to which the players will be able to have the official jerseys of their favorite teams. All 30 league team jerseys will be available, so basketball fans will have no trouble finding what they are looking for. You’ll be able to purchase them through the in-game store, along with basketball-themed emotes and a basket-shaped backpack.
On the occasion of this collaboration, two NBA players, namely Trae Young and Donovan Mitchell, had the honor to choose the items present in the lockers, which Fortnite players will be able to start purchasing from the week next. They were inspired by the elements they themselves use when playing the game. The collaboration between Fortnite and the NBA will begin on May 21, namely this Friday. Starting May 25, a special event, the details of which are not yet known, will await players in the game’s creative mode.
This is reminiscent of one of the documents in the trial between Apple and Epic Games revealed the imminent arrival of a skin bearing the likeness of LeBron James and a game mode inspired by a game of basketball. These elements have not yet been confirmed by Epic Games but fans are waiting to see them land in Fortnite. It is not impossible that these will arrive in the next season, in which the sport could be in the spotlight.
