Apple is distributing the “Air Quality” function to other countries with iOS 14.7 Beta 1

One of the new features introduced with iOS 14 last year was the air quality display in the iOS Weather app. However, this was previously only available for a few regions. With the first beta of iOS 14.7, Apple is expanding the availability of this function to other countries.

Several users on Reddit and Twitter report that with iOS 14.7 Beta 1, the air quality function in the iOS Weather app will be expanded to other regions. So far France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Canada have been registered.

If you don’t know the air quality index yet: The air quality index (AQI – Air Quality Index) measures the degree of pollution in urban environments. It is calculated from the measured concentrations of three pollutants (nitrogen dioxide, fine dust and ozone).
