Anker, a well-known manufacturer of high-quality charging cables and charging docks, is now launching a certified charging dock for the Oculus Quest 2 VR glasses. The charging station can charge the VR glasses and the controllers at the same time and also serves as the perfect place for storing the individual devices.
Anchor loading dock for Oculus Quest 2
I had been looking for a nicer way to store my Oculus Quest 2 for a while. Because in the normal scope of delivery only a power cord is included, but the three parts are still lying around with me individually. There are several providers and options for solving this problem, one of which would be this: NEWZEROL VR stand for headset and touch controller * . However, the glasses and the two controllers are only “hung up” here for storage. Charging would have to be done through the original cable.
To be honest, I think that’s a nicer solution with the Anker loading dock. After you have replaced the batteries in the two Quest controllers with the supplied rechargeable batteries, you can attach all three things to the Anker charging dock and fully charge them in 2.5 hours.
As soon as the Oculus Quest 2 is placed on the Anker charging dock, the magnetic USB-C connector clicks into place and charging starts. As standard, the controllers do not have a charging facility. A handle cover is also included in the scope of delivery for this, which simply has to be replaced.
The Oculus Quest 2 is still not available in Germany. But you can easily override them Amazon France to order.
