Siri for third-party devices!
Apple introduces the use of Siri for third-party devices! Third-party devices will soon also be able to be controlled by Siri. Apple hasn’t released a comprehensive list of brands that will support Siri yet. The stream from WWDC shows an Ecobee thermostat with Siri control. Other third-party devices could be, for example, lamps, dust robots, kitchen appliances or the like.
In addition, Apple has presented other functions. A new feature are home keys, with which you can lock and unlock doors remotely. Home Keys is a new function that you can control via the wallet app. The use of the “Intercom” function via the Apple Watch is also supported. For example, you can communicate with compatible video intercoms or control third-party devices via Siri. I am very excited! Did you check out the Apple event? How do you think that the use of Siri is also being introduced for third-party devices? Feel free to write to me in the comments.
