Apple Music unveils high fidelity audio and spatial audio!

After unveiling its new operating systems, Apple took advantage of WWDC to launch Apple Music’s new HiFi offer, now available to subscribers at no extra cost.

Right after her WWDC opening conference, during which she presented iOS 15, iPadOS 15 and macOS Monterey, Apple finally unsheathed its famous HiFi offer for Apple Music.

Unveiled last month after weeks of intense rumors, this new offer allows you to access Dolby Atmos on all AirPods and Beats with H1 or W1 chip, and on all your iDevices. We also find audio Spatial, which will now be offered on many artist titles such as « Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, J Balvin et Kacey Musgraves », explains Gagan Gupta, Apple Music Product Manager at 01net. As a reminder, the audio Spatial offers you immersive 360 ° sound.

Otherwise, we find this famous Lossless sound, said high fidelity, which will allow you to enjoy your favorite music on nearly 75 million songs by the end of the year in the ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec) format, which offers a CD quality (16 bit and 44.1 kHz) and even up to 24 bit at 192 kHz with a DAC. However, note that Lossless sound will only be available with compatible hardware, and through a cable. The AirPods will therefore not be compatible with this format.

To take advantage of all these new features, all you need to do is subscribe to Apple Music, offered at € 9.99 / month for a single person and € 14.99 as part of a family subscription. All these functions will be offered to you at no additional cost.
