The strategic partnership between Samsung and AMD could result in a significant increase in the graphics performance of Exynos chips.
Samsung and AMD announced a strategic partnership on mobile graphics chips last summer, with particular reference to the use of RDNA architecture in Exynos chips, this year’s highscore and already AMD RDNA 2 architektúrára build. According to preliminary information, the 2200 set will be made with 4-nanometer LPE manufacturing technology and will presumably be introduced in the Galaxy S22 series.
The results in the GFX Bench database are more than encouraging, and we see the drastic and significant increase in graphics performance quantified compared to the strongest chipset on the market. Based on preliminary results, the unnamed Radeon Exynos set far surpasses Apple’s A14 Bionic capabilities, which is no small achievement.
