During its Geeked Week, Netflix unveiled certain details of season 3 of The Umbrella Academy.
Yesterday, Netflix devoted a conference of its Geeked Week to comic book adaptations. The platform notably gave us news of the second season of Locke & Key, which should be broadcast next October. It was also an opportunity for the N Rouge to share some information on the highly anticipated third season of The Umbrella Academy.
Inspired by the eponymous graphic novels of Gerard Way and Gabriel Bà, the series follows the adventures of seven children born of an Immaculate Conception in 1986 and adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves. Together, they form the Umbrella Academy. When their father dies, with the academy disbanded, they find themselves facing a daunting threat. The planet is going to be destroyed in just 8 days.
During this live, the creator of the series, Steve Blackman lifted the veil on the titles of the episodes of this new salvo. Thus, hostilities will be launched with “Meet the Family” which should logically present the news to us. Umbrella Academy. Traveling in the past, superheroes altered their reality and were replaced by beings with powers similar to their own. Their father, who has been dead since the start of the season, also seems to have made a reappearance in this alternate reality. Vanya, Klaus, Luther, Allison, Diego and Five are obviously not out of the woods yet and will undoubtedly have to face a new apocalypse.
