Microsoft has revealed many of its plans as well as upcoming updates for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Among other announcements, Microsoft revealed that his Xbox Game Pass Ultimate would soon introduce a new update on Xbox Series X. The company announced that the improvement of the data centers is almost complete, which should greatly improve the quality of service on the powerful next-gen console. This includes streaming performance, frame rate per second as well as graphics optimization for console specific games. This update is expected to arrive in the next few weeks.
At the same time, Microsoft also announced that Xbox Game Pass will soon open to other media. Indeed, the company will finally allow Ultimate subscribers to access the service from any web browser. This includes browsers such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari for devices running iOS, iPadOS and macOS. Although this feature has been in testing since last April, Xbox Game Pass is currently only available on Android devices through web browsers.
Microsoft looks to the future
The firm also intends to further develop its media network by creating a native application for certain Smart TVs as part of a partnership between Microsoft and several television manufacturers. Finally, the company would dream of being able to manufacture a physical solution for its service that would allow subscribers to be able to play on any television thanks to a specific box. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is a subscription cloud gaming service that includes access to cloud games as well as Xbox Live Gold membership for € 12.99 per month.
