Square Enix has reviewed all of its games planned for mobiles, consoles and PCs and unveiled unpublished information on them.
Second conference of this second day ofE3, the presentation of Square Enix was an opportunity to take news of the titles Final Fantasy, Marvel’s Avengers or the next one Life Is Strange True Colors. First, the studio started by presenting the studio’s upcoming game Eidos Montreal, which was eagerly awaited by the community. This is a game Guardians of the Galaxy in collaboration with Marvel. We were treated to a long introductory video, followed by a gameplay sequence featuring a playable demo of the title.
It promises to be filled with humor and action, everything that makes up the essence of Guardians of the Galaxy. It is a single player adventure game, with a strong narrative angle in which the decisions you make will have a real impact on the rest of your adventure. It will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC on October 26th. Pre-orders are already open.
Then Square Enix spoke about its title Babylon’s Fall by unveiling an original trailer. Unfortunately, little information has been released and no release date has yet been revealed. Babylon’s Fall will be released on PS4, PS5, and Steam.
Remasters side, the first six opus of the franchise Final Fantasy will be reworked for a planned release on Steam and mobile phones by a date as yet unknown. This will also be the case for Legend of Mana, whose remastered version will be released on June 24 on Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC.
The studio also gave news of its title Marvel’s Avengers. The Cosmic Cube update was presented, as well as the expansion War for Wakanda, which takes place in the universe of Black Panther. The special event notably introduces the brand new Patrol mode, as well as a system of randomly replayable boss fights. The new expansion reveals a struggle for the control and use of vibranium. The extension will be available for free from August.
Saving the best for last, Square Enix has unveiled a video explaining the powers of Alex Chen, the main heroine of the next Life Is Strange True Colors. Alex has the ability to be able to capture the dominant emotions of those around her and it is through this power that she will be able to learn more about the death of her brother. The title will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC on September 10.
Then the studio announced a brand new franchise title. Final Fantasy, entitled Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin. This is a new take on Jack and his companions, whose ultimate goal is to defeat the terrible Chaos. A playable demo is available on PS5 until June 24.
