The conference returns from August 19 to 21 with an online and free format.
Announced a few months ago, the QuakeCon will be back this summer. If we knew that the event would take place from August 19 to 21, Bethesda had not detailed the terms of participation in it, or even if it will be held online or in person. The answer to this question has just been given by the company, which confirmed an event online again this year.
Indeed, the health situation does not allow Bethesda to be able to bring back face-to-face QuakeCon for the moment, it will therefore take place digitally as in 2020. Obviously, access will be free and accessible to all via the Twitch channel, among others, of the event.
What can we expect from QuakeCon 2021?
Regarding the schedule, Bethesda has only revealed some highlights that we can already look forward to, including charity events, announcements of already released and upcoming games, tournaments and freebies for fans. A detailed schedule will be communicated closer to the conference, so stay alert.
In our opinion, the games Deathloop, Starfield or Redfall should make an appearance during this event. This is the first edition of QuakeCon that has taken place since Bethesda became part of the Xbox Game Studios family. We do not know if this will change part of the programming, but it may impact the release of titles on consoles. Will QuakeCon be just for Xbox gamers or will there be something for everyone? The answer in a month.
