Twitter is already testing a new login option. So if you have trouble remembering passwords, you may find Twitter’s new proposal more comfortable.
As mentioned last month, Twitter is finally opening the possibility of logging in with our Google credentials.
Twitter allows you to use your Google account to log in
One month ago, Jane Manchun Wong mentioned that Twitter was working on a new option for the login. Yes, as with multiple applications, Twitter would also add the Google credentials both to register and to log in to the platform.
A dynamic that is already beginning to be implemented in the beta of Twitter for Android. If you take a look at the app, you will see that a new button “Continue with Google” is added so that you can link the two accounts and serve you to log in.
This could be a solution for those who prefer to bypass passwords and simplify the process with their Google credentials. A dynamic that can be easily managed from Manage your Google account >> Security >> Applications with access to your account.
There you will find all the websites and applications with which you log in with your Google account. From this section you can keep track of these accesses and revoke the permission at any time. And soon, you will be able to add to Twitter.
At the moment, this new option is only available in the beta version of Twitter, so we will have to wait for it to pass its testing stage to see it in one of the future stable versions of the application.
Twitter may also consider adding other integrations in the future to make it easier for users to log in using their preferred services, but we’ll have to wait for more news.
