Dropbox is adding an interesting combination of features that will make it easier to implement a hybrid workspace model.
This new Dropbox update provides a new tool to convert files, a better browsing experience, as well as some extras to organize our content. And if you use Dropbox from your mobile, you will find interesting news for camera backups.
Dropbox is updated with more functions to manage our files
One of the novelties that we find in this update of Dropbox is a file conversion tool. For the moment, lets convert files to PDF as well as images in JPEG and PNG. But they plan to add more options in the future, for example for converting videos.
On the other hand, they are bringing the option of automatic camera backup on mobile to all users. And this update comes with a series of improvements, which promise a faster load, and with options that allow you to choose the albums that we want to have in the backup, and the way how the multimedia content will be saved.
These last options are already available for iOS devices, but we will have to wait until the end of the year to see them on Android. There are also some extra aids to find the content we are looking for in the shortest possible time and without getting dizzy with too many clicks. For example, suggested folders and a new browsing experience are added to the web version of Dropbox.
The update also comes to Dropbox Passwords, which adds a series of functions. Among them, a browser extension is added, the sharing of passwords and support for debit and credit cards. Remember that Dropbox Passwords is still available for free Dropbox plans with a limit of 50 passwords per account.
