SEGA and Lavair create retro sneakers inspired by the Mega Drive

This collaboration in the effigy of the Mega Drive gave birth to two new pairs of shoes as well as two caps.

SEGA and Lavair, a brand of innovative sports shoes, have just announced a line of sneakers in honor of the studio’s retro console, the Mega Drive. Released in 1988, the console inspired the brand to create a pair of sneakers available in two colors, as well as matching caps.

The first pair has been called EXO SEGA MEGA DRIVE ANALOG and has shades ranging from pink to purple with a bit of a retro feel, while the other has been called EXO SEGA MEGA DRIVE MONO, and features an all-black fabric. Both pairs feature a grid, which gives them an even more 80s look.

“The EXO SEGA MEGA DRIVE displays a technical aesthetic with a thermoplastic polyurethane eyelet and a weather-resistant toe guard, all draped in a high-strength nylon upper”.

Pricing and availability

These two pairs of shoes will be available on the official website of Lavair from July 23 at the price of £ 200, or € 233. The caps will sell for £ 50, or around € 58. On the other hand, little feet will be able to get dressed, the shoes will only be available from 40 to 46.

In another style, you can always fall back on the retro collection in the colors of Space Jam proposed by Nike on the occasion of the release of Space Jam: New Era, which you can consult our critique.
