If this year’s edition remains completely digital, the 2022 edition should return to San Fransisco in March.
The health situation that we have already known for more than a year has affected a good number of technological and video games conferences still in 2021. Indeed, almost all the events were held remotely, in free online editions and open to all. However, a good number of organizers will already see themselves rolling out the red carpet from next year and once again offering face-to-face exhibitions.
This is the case with the Game Developers Conference, a show dedicated to professionals in the gaming world which is one of the unmissable events for the gaming community. The organizers have already announced the return of the show from March 21 to 25, 2022 at the Moscone Center in San Fransisco.
Already a face-to-face return?
This is a rather optimistic return, knowing that the pandemic situation is not yet good if we stick to the forecasts of the international scientific body. However, this is not the only show to focus on the rehabilitation of physical events since ESA also plans to bring back l’E3 in Los Angeles next summer. While waiting for an official confirmation in the coming months from the organizers, it remains a matter to be followed.
For the moment, the 2021 edition is taking place completely virtual from July 19 to 23, so there is still time to participate! Do not hesitate to consult the registration procedures to participate in the event directly on the website of the GDC.
