More than a simple watch, the Casio AW100WE Pac-Man is intended to be a tribute to the 70s and 80s with its vintage watch model.
After the announcement of the Mario watch made by Tag Heuer, it’s Pac-Man’s turn to set the record straight in a vintage edition of the Casio A100 digital watch. This watch was created in collaboration with Bandai Namco, the studio behind the yellow camembert.
The basis of this revisited model is the famous F-100 watch, the first copy of which dates from 1978. At the time, it was one of the most sophisticated and advanced models that the brand could offer. It was the first to be made and resin, and it had a digital alarm as well as a calendar function, among other features. You will find all of this in the Pac-Man version.
In the background, we obviously find Pac-Man, in a map all that is most faithful, with his friends (or not) the ghosts of all colors. We can also find the characters on the watch straps dressed in a sober black. If you are wondering whether you will be able to play your watch, the answer is unfortunately no, even if we would have liked it.
Pricing and availability
The AW100WE Pac-Man watch will be sold on the Casio site only in Japan. It is expected for the month of next August without a specific date and at a value of around 100 €. You can find all the information on the site page dedicated.
