Pokémon Unite: available on Switch, mobile versions will arrive later

Nintendo’s free-to-play MOBA is finally available on Nintendo Switch after months of waiting.

As promised, Pokémon Unite is finally available on Nintendo Switch before the end of July. If the game aims to bring together players from all over the world, we will have to wait a little longer for the release of Pokémon Unite on mobiles. Indeed, the iOS and Android versions will not arrive until later in the year, in September. These will be released by The Pokémon Company, unlike the Switch version released by Nintendo directly.

What is Pokémon Unite?

Pokémon Unite is a MOBA (a multiplayer arena game) in which players play as Pokémon in order to fight with each other. The title thus offers 5 against 5 fights, as can also be done by the famous game. League of Legends from Riot Games, for example.

As in almost every MOBA, Pokémon are divided into different classes according to their specificities and roles in the team, and have several special abilities specific to use in combat against other players. There are thus attacking Pokémon, support, or even versatile, to choose according to your style of play.

At the moment the languages supported by the game are English, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Support for French will be added later in the year, so it will be necessary to take your troubles patiently until then for French speakers.
