Two years after Us, Jordan Peele will come back behind the camera. The director of Get Out has just unveiled the poster for his next feature film called Nope.
In just a few short years, Jordan Peele has carved out a solid reputation for himself in genre cinema. The director of Get Out and Us therefore does not need an outrageous promotion to announce its next feature films. On Twitter, he has just shared the poster for his new film, which began shooting in Los Angeles a few weeks ago. The filmmaker, used to very condensed titles, did not depart from the rule with Nope (nan in the language of Shakespeare).

On the plot side, Jordan Peele also withholds information and the poster does not teach us much more. We can see a cloud with a garland that rushes in. Besides, you can see a small town in the dark. Not much to eat other than the film’s release date. It will be screened in American cinemas from July 22, 2022. We must expect to discover it at this same period in our green regions.
A promising cast
Daniel Kaluuya seems to have a certain appetite for the world of Jordan Peele and is backing up for a second feature film under the direction of the director. In Nope, he will give the reply Keke Palmer (Queens) and Steven Yeun (Threatening). For now, the rest of the cast is still unknown, but we can count on Universal to tell us more in the coming months. In the meantime, we can find the pen of Jordan Peele with CandyMan, directed by Nia DaCosta, but written and produced by the filmmaker. The film with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II must be released on our screens August 25th, after a year of delay due to the pandemic.
