The market for noise-canceling Bluetooth headsets is booming. And this technology is already likely to be found with quality in products under €100. But the new ones Beoplay EQ from Bang & Olufsen go far beyond that.
The historic Danish manufacturer focuses on the segment premium of audio. See yourself by the quality of your headphones Beoplay H95 we tested. And these Beoplay EQs are their first noise canceling headphones will hit the market for nothing less than 399 €.
Each headset will feature three microphones: two to ensure noise cancellation/transparency mode and one to make quality calls. Without dazzling, they promise not to disappoint at battery level.
Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ promise up to 20 hours of battery life
The brand claims that these will be able to provide six and a half hours of continuous playback. If we count on the box, the autonomy goes up to 20 hours. All this with noise cancellation turned on. They can be charged via USB-C or wirelessly via the universal Qi standard.
Most importantly, they promise a “powerful and authentic audio experience”. You can expect a quality connection experience, with aptX support, and Bluetooth 5.2. They also have IP54, which gives them basic protection against ingress of dust and “spray of water”. In other words, more than sweat it’s good not to take chances with this model.
As mentioned above, these will not be for any pocket. We are talking about a premium product that will cost €399 in Europe, well above the excellent Sony WF-1000XM4 that we tested recently. They will be available for purchase in gold and black from August 19th.
