Warner and Instagram are joining forces today by unveiling an augmented reality filter bearing the image of the batmobile.
A few weeks before the launch of the traditional Batman Day, Instagram and the Warner have just launched the hashtag #LaBatmobileChezMoi, an initiative allowing its users to park the famous Dark Knight utility car in front of their homes. If at the moment it is simply a augmented reality filter, the project is in fact an ambitious game-competition. By posting a story of the car accompanied by the hashtag #LaBatmobileChezMoi and its postal code, it will be possible to participate in a raffle to see the batmobile land (this time in real life) in your city. An initiative which is reminiscent of the recent arrival of Harry Potter Hogwarts Express at Saint-Lazare Station.
Batman Day is brewing
Like every year, September 18 will be synonymous with bats. On the occasion of Batman Day, several initiatives will be organized pretty much everywhere in the world. In France, the publisher Urban Comics will honor the Black Knight, with the release of The World an unpublished anthology bringing together authors from 14 countries. Bruce Wayne fans will also be able to attend the creation of a huge tribute fresco at the Carrousel du Louvre, in the company of several artists who have lent their pen to the DC Comics license. In addition to the signing sessions organized in Paris, a collector’s album will also be offered for any purchase of several Batman comics. This year it will be the excellent Batman: The Duel, signed John Layman and Jason Fabok.
