The title will arrive this year on Android and iOS for the birthday of the humanoid synthesizer Miku Hatsune.
This August 31 marked the birthday of a humanoid character rather known in the world of music, namely Miku Hatsune. This is the female avatar used by Yamaha in its Vocaloid synthesizer, which is now celebrating its 14th anniversary. For the occasion, SEGA and Colorful Palette unveil a brand new rhythm game featuring the singer titled Hatsune Miku: COLORFUL STAGE!
It will probably be a rhythm game in which you will have the opportunity to give virtual concerts with about twenty playable characters, including Miku Hatsune and his friends. In terms of gameplay, it seems more or less like a mix between Guitar Hero and Piano Tiles. SEGA explains:
“Each successful challenge earns rewards and XP, which unlocks character cards through a gacha system. Alone or with friends, players must follow the rhythm of the music and face different challenges spread over the five levels of difficulty available for each song ”.
The title already has a release scheduled for this year on iOS and Android mobiles, but has not disclosed its exact release date. This information will surely be communicated by SEGA at a later date. In the meantime, find below the first explanatory video from the developers of the title.
