Less than a month from its launch, the revisited game has a trailer to watch in 4K to make its ultimate promotion.
When Gamescom 2021 opening ceremony, barely two weeks ago, Hideo Kojima unveiled a preview trailer for his title Death Stranding Director’s Cut. It detailed all the new features that players on PS5 can already expect, especially in terms of gameplay, mobility, or technical improvements.
Today, the game designer returns to the forefront to offer fans of the license a very last trailer, this time to enjoy in 4K, which takes us back to the moving and engaging story of Sam Bridges, the delivery man from the future who struggles to rebuild the world after its extinction. This ultimate trailer was specially edited by the developer, making it a real director’s cut, in the first sense of the term.
Not much new in terms of the in-game images and cutscenes that were used to make this trailer, but we still appreciate the artistic touch of Hideo Kojima who leaves a cinematic imprint on all his productions, such as this is the case here. For those who no longer remember the story of Death Stranding, here is a quick summary provided by Sony:
“In the future, a mysterious event known as Death Stranding opened a door between the world of the living and the world of the dead. As a result, creatures from beyond began to roam this fallen world marked by a devastated society. You play as Sam Bridges, and your mission is to restore hope to humanity by connecting the last survivors of a decimated America ”.
