Lenovo has introduced 5G tablets

The manufacturer’s first 5G-capable tablet series features a top-of-the-line model and an upper mid-range solution.

Lenovo also introduced two 5G tablets yesterday, the Tab P11 5G, on the other hand, makes sense for the former Tab P11 Variant with 5G set. The Snapdragon 662 will be replaced by the Snapdragon 750G with 8GB of system memory and 256GB of internal storage, which is double the equipment of the base model. Anyway, everything is left, including an 11-inch, 1200 x 200-pixel Dolby Vision LCD panel, a 7700 mAh battery with 20 watts of fast charging, and four Jby-tuned Dolby Atmos-rated speakers. In addition to Dispaly Port support, the device is compatible with a keyboard case and a capacitive stylus called Lenovo Precision Pen 2.

The top model is clearly a Tab P12 Pro 5Gunderlined by the Snapdragon 870 set, 120Hz HDR10 + AMOLED panel, metal casing, four JBL speakers and 45-watt fast charge. The 565-gram tablet is just 5.63 millimeters thick and comes with a full-featured keyboard (19mm key height and 1.3mm keypad) with a touchpad case and the magnetically lockable and rechargeable Precision Pen 3. The workstation-packed stuff still weighs just 1kg .

The Lenovo P12 Pro 5G is slightly larger, with a display of 12.6-inch 1600 x 2560 pixels and Dolby Vision support, comes with a 10200 mAh battery and a 45-watt fast charge, for which an adapter must be purchased separately. However, the P12 Pro 5G is the first model to be supported by Lenovo A project called Project Unity that allows you to wirelessly pair your Android 11 tablet with a PC running at least Windows 10, where the tablet acts as a secondary display. Otherwise, the Display Port is also an option.

The WiFi-only version will be available in Europe from October on the manufacturer’s official website for 610 euros, while the 5G variant will cost 900 euros net, which means that the tax burdens on the prices of 214 and 316 thousand forints still have to be calculated at home. The price of the more modest P11 5G will be 500 euros net, which means 175 thousand forints.
