The e-commerce giant is launching a new high-end HDMI dongle. It has just appeared on Amazon at a price of 65 €.
While waiting for a possible Amazon signed TV, the e-commerce giant is launching a new benchmark in its Fire TV range. After the Fire TV Stick, the Fire TV Stick Lite and the Fire TV Stick 4K, Amazon is expanding its range by introducing the Fire TV Stick 4K Max. As the name suggests, this is the most upscale model.
The Fire TV Stick 4K Max supports 4K, HDR and HDR10 + as well as all Dolby technologies, including Atmos and Vision. There is also support for WiFi 6. The device has a new quadcore processor clocked at 1.8 GHz coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage and announced as 40% than that of the Fire TV Stick 4K. A function called Alexa Home Cinema will allow sound to be broadcast from an Echo Studio or Echo (4th generation) speaker.
Amazon’s high-end HDMI dongle comes with a brand new Alexa remote, which has a dedicated button for Prime Video, Netflix, Disney + and Amazon Music. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max will be available from October 7, but is already available for pre-order for € 64.99 on Amazon.
