With a maximum speed of 90 km / h and up to 180 km of autonomy, the City Transformer has been presented by this Israeli company at the Munich Motor Show as the future of urban mobility: an electric vehicle of contained dimensions, with enough autonomy and able to fold down to reduce its size even further.
With capacity to carry two passengers and quick charge function
Its measurements are 2,500 mm long, 1,580 mm high, a wheelbase of 1,800 mm and up to 1,400 mm wide. It is taller and wider than a Citroën Ami (cataloged as a light quadricycle) but with a more restrained length.
And we even say because one of the most interesting features of this model is that its base can expand while it is running thanks to the so-called ‘folded mode’ and go from 1,000 mm to 1,400 mm.
This technology is designed to be able to park the vehicle anywhere or wander through the most complicated corners.
Same as him Renault Twizy, the City Transformer can only accommodate two passengers: the driver sits in front and the passenger in the rear.
It is equipped with a fast charging system, and promises that its battery can be charged in half an hour to 80%. In terms of autonomy, it advertises a range of between 120 and 180 km in ideal conditions (that is, not too cold or too hot and with a calm driving style).
It can circulate at a speed of 90 km / h and thanks to its two electric motors that provide a power of 15 kW, it does the 0 to 50 km / h in five seconds.
It is currently on sale with an introductory price of 12.500 euros, and an advance reservation -reimbursable- of 150 euros.
Once deliveries begin, the date of which has not yet been revealed, its price will rise to 16,000 euros.
