Bosch Engineering: Management realignment

Since October 1st, the development service provider Bosch Engineering has realigned its management. The chairman of the management, Johannes-Jrg Rger, takes over the responsibility in the development area for his previous tasks.

After 27 years, Michael Englert will retire at the end of the year. Englert handed over the chairmanship of the Bosch subsidiary ITK Engineering to Frank Schmidt on October 1st. Frank Schmidt will remain Managing Director of Bosch Engineering as CTO and will also be responsible for overarching development topics for both companies in the future.

Peter von Wartenberg, CFO of Bosch Engineering, is moving to the Bosch Automotive Aftermarket division as a member of the divisional board with responsibility for commercial tasks. His successor as commercial manager is Volker Buschka. The graduate in business administration (BA) will in future be responsible for global controlling, finances, IT, data protection and human resources. Volker Buschka comes from Bosch Automotive Service Solutions, where he worked as Product Area Manager. The new CFO gained several years of commercial experience in managerial positions, including in France, Hungary and the USA.
