As the end of year holidays approach, Nokia unveils a versatile tablet at an affordable price, something to make Christmas happy.
Nokia, which is above all known for its phones, today introduces a new range of tech products, soberly called the T range. For the occasion, the brand unveiled the very first product in this range, the Nokia T20 tablet.
On the spec side, the Nokia T20 displays a 3D LCD screen offering 2K resolution, which will be more than sufficient for standard entertainment activities, such as running mobile games or watching movies and series. It has an 8,200 mAh battery that promises about fifteen hours of autonomy for “surfing the web” and ten hours for more demanding activities.
On the back, the Nokia T20 features an 8 MP photo sensor, which complements a 5 MP front sensor, perfect for video conferencing. In its guts, no Snapdragon chip for the T20 but the Chinese UNISOC Tiger T610 processor, which will provide sufficient entry-level performance.
The audio part also seems rather standard, with a double microphone, as well as speakers with OZO technology. Finally, the tablet will be running Android, and Nokia promises 3 years of monthly security updates, as well as two years of operating system updates, to avoid premature obsolescence.
Price and availability:
The Nokia T20 tablet will be launched at a price of € 239.90 in its 4GB / 64GB and Wi-Fi version, and at a price of € 259.90 with a SIM card. No launch date has yet been announced.
