Volkswagen: Treasury and Investor Relations will be merged

After 15 years in finance, Jörg Boche, previously Head of Group Treasury at Volkswagen, will retire at the end of 2021. On December 1, Rolf Woller takes over the management of the new Group Treasury and Investor Relations department. The aim of merging the divisions is to further strengthen banking and capital market relationships by controlling them from a single source.

Rolf Woller comes from the Volkswagen subsidiary Traton, where he has also been Head of Treasury and Investor Relations since 2019. From 2007 to 2018, Woller held various positions at Continental.

“I would like to express my thanks to Dr. Boche. He has headed the treasury function at Volkswagen very successfully for many years and steered the group safely through the diesel years and most recently the COVID 19 pandemic in terms of financing, ”says CFO Arno Antlitz. “At the same time, I am pleased that in Rolf Woller we have been able to win an experienced expert who is valued on the capital market for the new position. Together with his treasury colleagues and Helen Beckermann, Head of Group Investor Relations and her experienced team, he will integrate and sustainably strengthen banking and capital market relationships. “
