The present cannot exist without treasuring the past. That’s what they think in Alfa Romeo, with the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio GT Junior 2022 intent on paying homage to the iconic GT 1300 Junior, a manifesto of the timeless 60s.
The new Alfa Romeo Stelvio GT Junior special series, inspired by the GT 1300, is based on the “Veloce” set-up, the sportiest of the range, externally characterized by the Ocher Lipari color. Marketed in nearly 100,000 units since its launch in 1966, the GT 1300 Junior made a strong mark on the market with its 89hp engine.
Today things are obviously very different and the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio GT Junior presents itself to the world with a 210 HP 2.2 Turbo Diesel engine, an aluminum 4-cylinder with carbon propshaft combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive – for a car that knows very few limits.
Beyond the Ocher Lipari color we have already talked about, the setting is completed with 21 “five-hole light alloy wheels, aluminum standard automatic gearshift paddles integral with the steering column and Level 2 ADAS available as an option. And also front parking sensors, wireless charger for the smartphone, automatically operated tailgate, darkened rear windows, Pack Noise Reduction, mirror caps Dark Miron and LED fog lights. So we come to talk about the price: 72,750 euros. Sara available in dealerships from the weekend of 13 and 14 November.
Speaking of honoring the past, Alfa Romeo has also just done it with the Stelvio 6C Villa d’Este. In this video instead we see aAlfa Romeo Stelvio battling a Macan and an X4 M.
