Stiftung Warentest examined twelve vacuum and floor mopping robots in its 2021 vacuum robot test. Three devices were able to convince in the test.

In the test, the vacuum and floor mopping robots had to show how well they can cope with the challenges of everyday life. The conclusion of the experts: Many robots do not work particularly thoroughly. The comparison is worthwhile, especially since there are also big differences in the volume during the cleaning process – an aspect that is particularly relevant for those who work in the home office.

The first place went to the Roborock S6 MaxV secure, which the Stiftung Warentest rated “Good (2.3). The device scored with good suction and wiping performance and a high level of practicality.

The vacuum and floor mopping robot offers a suction power of 2500 Pa and has a battery life of 180 minutes. The dust container holds 460 milliliters and the water tank holds 300 milliliters. 13 laser sensors and two cameras should ensure that obstacles are reliably detected and avoided.

Pure vacuum robots in comparison: The test winner comes from iRobot

In the product category of pure vacuum robots, a device from the robot vacuum pioneer iRobot made it to first place in the comparison of the Stiftung-Warentest: Den iRobot Roomba i3+ the experts rate them with an overall grade of “Good (2.4)”. The iRobot offers good suction power and, according to the testers, is the only model with “good” usability.
