Firefox makes it easy to resume reading pending articles on mobile

Mozilla Firefox

Firefox is being updated on iOS and Android with a number of cool changes.

It is launching a new home page with new features that will save users time. They want them to delegate some tasks to the browser and not have to keep an eye on boring aspects of their web browsing.

Firefox launches new home page with multiple functions

The idea with the new page design is to make it easier for users to access the content they have seen in a Web navegation previous. So they will find the tabs that they have opened without having to go to the history, the articles that have been left to read as well as the sites that they have marked as favorites.

And a bonus that is added in this update is that the browser Mozilla Groups recent searches by topic. So if you’re doing research or just looking at offers for certain products, you’ll see that Firefox groups those searches together and makes them visible on your home page.

One detail to keep in mind is that this information will be available on the home page for 14 days. After that time, Firefox will delete the open tabs if you have not visited them, since it catalogs them in “inactive state”. A dynamic that prevents you from filling up with pending tabs that you will never review.

The last tab opened in your last session will also have prominence. If you have had to interrupt the reading of an article, you will not have to worry about trying to remember what web page it was on, since you will have it on the home page.

So you will have all the highlights of your browsing organized on the Firefox home page. And for those who like to read Pocket’s article suggestions from Firefox, they will find a new dynamic in Android, since it allows them to choose different themes for the feed.
