Xiaomi launched the new cheap smartwatch Hey Plus Watch through its Youpin funding platform. It is a new product, the first from this new manufacturer of the Xiaomi ecosystem, with several features dedicated to health and sports.
This brand, Hey Plus, would launch its first product in 2018, at the time a smart bracelet, the Hey+ Smartband. Since then, this same manufacturer would also launch the Hey Plus 1s smartband, also using an AMOLED high definition screen.
This is the new cheap smartwatch with 1.78 inch AMOLED screen
The overall look of the new inexpensive smartwatch is familiar. It is, in effect, a rectangle with rounded corners, with a full screen and a 1.78-inch AMOLED display shining on the user’s wrist. The highlight goes to the very tiny margins, a bezel extremely reduced.
The construction of the cheap Xiaomi watch employs metal (aluminum) as the main element for its case, weighing just 38 grams. There are several digital displays to choose from, several available with video animations for further customization.
We also have support for tracking 100 sports, to record various metrics such as distance covered, calories burned, among other details. Furthermore, in its home country, China, the smartwatch Hey Plus allows you to make payments via the Alipay platform.
Xiaomi Hey Watch is a cheap option to come first to China
The user will also be able to change the Xiaomi Hey Watch bracelets for further customization, with various colors available for this purpose. In addition, the Xiaomi watch promises to deliver autonomy for up to 21 days of normal to heavy use.
On the other hand, in the mode of moderate use, with lower consumption, Xiaomi claims that the battery can last up to 29 days, a typical usage pattern for the new watch. Note also that the loading is done via wireless, or wireless.
This new smart watch allows you to determine your heart rate 24 hours, oximetry (SpO2), sleep monitoring, in addition to breathing, stress, physical activity reminders, physical training and some smartphone notifications.
The watch can display messages and notifications from various popular messaging platforms in China such as WeChat, QQ, and other services.
Finally, its launch price on Xiaomi Youpin is 399 yuan. This is the equivalent of 62 dollars, or 54 euros. There is, however, no availability forecast outside China at the time of writing this article.
