Samsung has completed the development of LPDDR5x RAM

Faster processing speeds, much less power consumption and up to 64GB of system memory could be a feature of upcoming mobiles.

Samsung was the first to develop the LPDDR5x RAM module, which is significantly faster than the plain LPDDR5, offers more capacity and consumes 20% less power. At 8.5 Gbps, it outperforms the 6.4 Gbps LPDDR5, boasts a bandwidth of 14 nanometers and a capacity of up to 64 GB, making it possible for smartphones and tablets with far more RAM than ever before.

Samsung says mass production of the LPDDR5X modules could begin later this year, but it has not been revealed when it will be available in the final device. The first mobile with this type of memory is likely to Xiaomi 12 may.
