Aircraft bomb found: Audi partially stops production in Ingolstadt

Due to the discovery of an aircraft bomb, Audi had to temporarily stop part of its production at the main plant on Thursday. From around 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., work in some assembly halls in Ingolstadt will be suspended, said a company spokesman. The city had announced that a 75 kilogram bomb from the Second World War was discovered during construction work on Thursday afternoon. A restricted zone of 300 meters around the site will be set up for the defusing, which is planned around 7.30 p.m. In addition to the commercial area, some residential buildings are also affected.
