Works council announces resistance
The works council and IG Metall had assessed the plans to spin off as the beginning of the break-up of Opel and announced strong opposition. Opel is the only German brand in the Stellantis car company, which was created at the beginning of the year from the Peugeot parent company PSA and Fiat-Chrysler.
