Microsoft is enhancing its search engine with an option that improves its dynamics and makes it easier for users to find the information they are looking for without wasting time.
Bing begins showing new dashboards in search results. The user will need to perform a simple action to preview what the suggested web pages contain.
Microsoft adds a new dynamic to its search engines to speed up searches
Microsoft wants users to save the time of opening each result of search to find out if the suggested web page corresponds to the information they are looking for or is it just an eye-catching title. And for this, it now allows access to a new summary of each page that appears in the results without having to open the link.
The dynamics is simple, since the user will only need to click on the lightbulb icon that appears next to the search result. Just by performing this action you will have a summary of what the page contains, as you see in the image above.
So just by viewing this information panel, the user will be able to check if it is the information they are looking for or should go to the following Bing recommendation. In addition, the summary also shows different sections that make it easy to navigate through this information and quickly go to the information that interests us, without wasting time searching the entire page.
Microsoft has long been testing different versions of this dynamic on Bing, but now it is being extended officially for everyone. One detail to keep in mind is that this new Bing dynamic is only available in the desktop version, as it takes advantage of the features of large screens.
So if you use the Microsoft search engine, you can add this new option to your toolkit for effective searches.
