ROG is the benchmark brand for Asus video game players. With the latest Zephyrus G14 it is walking the talk.
CES is always an important time of the year. The first meeting for tech lovers, it sets the tone for the next 12 months. While there have already been many announcements since the launch of this edition, Asus is not yet done with the presentations. With its ROG sub-brand, the Taiwanese firm has already presented two products, dont le Zephyrus Duo 16, a computer that can only be noticed with its two screens and its extraordinary technical specifications.
Besides that, the brand had also bet on a gaming tablet, the ROG Flow Z13. The latter is presented by the brand as neither more nor less than “the most powerful gaming tablet on the market”. But never two without three, ROG takes advantage of this Tuesday, January 4 to make a third, and surely, the last announcement on the occasion of this CES.
The brand is finally getting back to basics with this product, closer to what we are used to seeing from it. With the Zephyrus G14, it offers a thin and high-performance gaming computer which, without revolutionizing the market, arrives with very interesting characteristics. First of all, it has the latest generation CPUs and GPUs from AMD. On the screen side, Asus offers the best, with QHD quality and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Best of all, it has a brightness of 500 nits.
A display and performance that promises great things
This ROG Nebula Display stands out as one of the strengths of this computer, which occupies 91% of the front of the latter. Without being the lightest of the products that ROG presented this year, the Zephyrus G14 does not exceed the bar of 2 centimeters thick (18.5mm) which makes it a compact product.
With a weight on the scale announced at 1.65 kilograms. The latter is also a featherweight capable of boxing one to two categories above. With a storage capacity of 1 TB, plus a space left free for the user, ROG offers a very nice product. This Zephyrus G14 is indeed a complete computer, capable of satisfying the uses of gamers, who are the brand’s core target.
Regarding the price of the product, Asus assures that it will be available during the first quarter of the year 2022 for 1599 €.
